Ngatarawa Wines lies ‘between the ridges’ at Bridge Pa, Hawkes Bay.

First Ngatarawa vineyard planted.

Work begins on restoration of historic racing stables.
1986
First export sales of Ngatarawa wines – to United Kingdom and Australia.
1997
Founders Alwyn Corban and Garry Glazebrook.
1991
Ngatarawa wines recognised internationally by Oz Clarke in his New Classic Wines.
1999
Alwyn and Brian Corban become the sole shareholders in Ngatarawa.
1999
Ngatarawa wins Sydney Top 100 Trophy for Glazebrook 1998 Hawkes Bay Merlot.
2009
Farmgate Noble Harvest Riesling 2008 awarded Air New Zealand Sweet Wine Trophy.
2010
Alwyn Merlot Cabernet 2007 wins Gold at Decanter World Wine Awards
2010
Alwyn Chardonnay 2007 wins International Wine Challenge Trophy for Best NZ White Wine in London.
2012
Alwyn Chardonnay takes out the Trophy for Best New Zealand White Wine for the second time at the London International Wine Challenge. Vintage 2010.
